What exactly is outsourcing?

When I first heard of outsourcing, I immediately thought that it was just getting the really difficult jobs done for you, like building a website or creating a really snazzy sales page.

Fair enough, I had no knowledge of HTML and was unlikely ever to want to learn it, and the idea of building a fancy website sent shivers down my spine. I’m about as far removed from being a geek, as I am from being a suicide terrorist in Afghanistan.

The revelation came some time ago when my mentor explained exactly how, after developing a saleable product, that you can then get an army of outsourced workers to do all of the trivial jobs as well as the more challenging technical issues, and strategically work it so that your are able to profit by their efforts on a virtually guaranteed ratio.

Here’s how it works

Say I’ve developed a product that I’m selling for $27. Its tried and tested and selling well enough.

The method I have used to sell it, is that of article marketing, blog commenting, forum marketing etc.

I then work out the formula to get all the above work done for me by paying roughly $5 per hour.

The total costs allow me to yield a profit from each worker of say $2 per hour, so I then take on as many workers as I want, knowing that I will earn $2 per hour x the number of workers.

The rewards are two fold. More profits + A faster growing list than I had before.

Now I’m not going to tell you that its dead simple and that you should do it right away without thoroughly testing what you are doing, obviously you need a good product and a great sales page that converts, but it is an ever growing method of expanding your activities and sending your sales through the roof, and will give you more time to concentrate on developing other products to slide into the system.

In case your thinking that training and monitoring all these people is a major problem, its not. You can develop written and visual aids to train people exactly what to do and where and when to do it, and only retain the people that produce the results.

If you have questions, ask them, or even better, take a look at this timesaver

Enjoy!
