What exactly is outsourcing?

When I first heard of outsourcing, I immediately thought that it was just getting the really difficult jobs done for you, like building a website or creating a really snazzy sales page.

Fair enough, I had no knowledge of HTML and was unlikely ever to want to learn it, and the idea of building a fancy website sent shivers down my spine. I’m about as far removed from being a geek, as I am from being a suicide terrorist in Afghanistan.

The revelation came some time ago when my mentor explained exactly how, after developing a saleable product, that you can then get an army of outsourced workers to do all of the trivial jobs as well as the more challenging technical issues, and strategically work it so that your are able to profit by their efforts on a virtually guaranteed ratio.

Here’s how it works

Say I’ve developed a product that I’m selling for $27. Its tried and tested and selling well enough.

The method I have used to sell it, is that of article marketing, blog commenting, forum marketing etc.

I then work out the formula to get all the above work done for me by paying roughly $5 per hour.

The total costs allow me to yield a profit from each worker of say $2 per hour, so I then take on as many workers as I want, knowing that I will earn $2 per hour x the number of workers.

The rewards are two fold. More profits + A faster growing list than I had before.

Now I’m not going to tell you that its dead simple and that you should do it right away without thoroughly testing what you are doing, obviously you need a good product and a great sales page that converts, but it is an ever growing method of expanding your activities and sending your sales through the roof, and will give you more time to concentrate on developing other products to slide into the system.

In case your thinking that training and monitoring all these people is a major problem, its not. You can develop written and visual aids to train people exactly what to do and where and when to do it, and only retain the people that produce the results.

If you have questions, ask them, or even better, take a look at this timesaver

Enjoy!

You Are Not Alone!

The first thing I’ve gotta tell you is that ‘you are not alone’. We all have fears, though we may not always recognize them.

If you are new to marketing, then this valuable information could spare you endless disappointment, money and time. Or perhaps you have already bought into a few programs and have nothing to show for your efforts and can appreciate what I’m talking about.

When we make the decision to become internet marketers, or network marketers, we often do it on a whim. Maybe we need more income or we’ve lost our job and look for another way to earn money by working from home. Whatever the reason, we are pretty ignorant to the facts and because we are eager to get started, we start to look around at what’s on offer. Before we know it, we are inundated with offers and claims of instant riches, our in boxes filled with tempting offers and websites that tell us its easy to make money online.

Fact is, this is not the truth. The truth becomes more clear after our failure to produce results.

We may try again and again, maybe several times, but the results are always the same, and it will remain the same until we make the decision to either quit, or to crack the code, find the magic button, or the missing piece of the jigsaw.

If you are wise, or have some available money, you will invest in the services of a trainer or mentor.

There is an old saying which remains absolutely true, and goes something like this. “If you want to be successful, find someone that is already successful and do as they do”

This is what I eventually did after wasting my time and money for several months. The training programs that come with almost every opportunity are usually inadequate in supplying a true step by step guide to success, and the person that sponsored you is normally unable to offer any genuine advice, as they are often as new as you are to the world of marketing online. Marketing online however is similar to any form of marketing, as it relies on paying customers.

Facing our fears

So let us presume that you follow some good advice. You have made the decision to seek good training and that you have begun your journey toward finding real success.

You are likely to want to hold onto the programs that you have already paid for and that’s understandable, but they may be costing you a monthly fee, and if so, you may be wise to let them go.

It is when you start to learn about how the internet works, and how marketing on the internet works, when a whole bunch of new fears start to crack in.

Choosing a niche, branding yourself, getting an autoresponder, writing a blog, writing articles, SEO, PPC, using audio, using video and so on and so on………….This is where the fear element starts to hit, yet they are all essential to building an online business, and therefore will have to get done, and the only way forward is to face each fear and to overcome it, which may sound easier said than done.

The best way forward is to pace yourself.

Make a list of what you have to do and start to put it into order of priority.

Top of the list has to be. Choosing a niche or deciding what it is you do.

Understand that whatever you choose to do, TRAFFIC is your goal. Traffic + A high converting squeeze page= Cash

Map out your business plan, so you have a clear picture of what you want to achieve.

It need not be perfect, but will give you direction.

Focus only one task at a time, and only on one method of getting traffic.

The very best free method of creating traffic is via blogging and article writing.

Do not try to seek perfection with each step you take, but proceed until finished.

You can always go back and edit or improve later.

Do not put off, or miss any of the steps along the way.

Some tasks will take much longer than others.

Feel good about each completed task.

You will be more enthusiastic when you see results.

Hopefully by now, you will start to see that we must all step out of our comfort zone, and do things that may seem unlike anything we have experienced in our lives before. Some of us will have certain skills that can help, and some won’t, but you can guarantee that the range of knowledge and abilities you need to grasp, are so diverse, that being competent at all, may seem daunting to the best of us.

I believe that if you want something badly enough, and have the fortitude to do whatever it takes to succeed, then you will find success, but you must be prepared to be patient in your endeavour.

Please find the time to leave comments or questions below.

The Internet Lifestyle.

Sounds like a dream doesn’t it? Not having to drag yourself out of bed each day, hit the traffic, get to work, graft all day for pennies, then rush home at night to get all the other chores done before you fall into bed exhausted, and the start the process all over again the next day.

Imagine, having the choice to sleep in if you want to, or the freedom to do whatever you want, whenever you want. An internet lifestyle can give you that and so much more, but it doesn’t come for free, there’s a cost, and I don’t mean the cost of joining some some program or other that claims to give you automatic freedom and wealth, simply by buying into their program, its deeper than that but it can be simplified.

Let me tell you a bit about my story, but quickly.

I left school at 15 with no qualifications. I knew that I was destined to enjoy my life and do well. I came from a working class background and though I loved my Dad dearly, couldn’t go through life with his humble, ‘I know my place’ outlook.

I worked hard for 10 years looking for the keys to success and then found them.

I spent many years making serious money and I also ended up losing it, but that’s another story.

The key to success is just down to helping people to get what they want, or if you like, pleasing people, giving people value for what they spend.

A man will give you all he can afford for what you ask, providing, that what you offer, is seen as value to that person.

It is that principal, on which I built my offline empire years ago, and it is on that same principle that that I am building my online business.

So listen to Dr Feelgood and get the Feelgoodfactor with Make-Serious-Money.com now, or just leave me your name and email in the box on the right of this post.

NOTE: MORE INFO STILL TO COME IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!!

I Am Living Proof and you MUST read this post.

In the 80’s I was worth a million and in the 90’s I lost it.

I made one mistake. I promised my wife I’d never borrow money to go into business again. So for 10 years I worked in a j.o.b.

15 months ago, I left my work and decided to work from home. I was done with long hours, I was done with traffic and I was done with being worn out and tired when I got home each night and was still expected to work late nights and weekends.

I’m now in my 60’s and began to feel I would never see 65 or retirement.

In the summer last year I bought ‘The Secret’ and as a result, asked for money to tide me over until I learned how to market on line.

In no time, and totally out of the blue a check arrived for £15,500 enough to last me some time, which was great.

Would you believe that 3 weeks ago I was considering spending a lot of money on something I really wanted, and was pondering on whether or not I should spend so much on a whim. On the morning I was to put my order in, again through the post, completely out of the blue, I received a check for £3,300. Well enough for me to buy even more than I wanted.

I had also asked to meet some influential people, and this year I was introduced to Lee McIntyre and within 2 weeks I had made 2 products of my own, and am now full of ideas of growing my internet business still further by implementing many of ideas that Lee had successfully fashioned.

Lee McIntyre is truly inspirational and truly deserves his rapid rise to fame. In June of 2007 Lee was a school teacher, and was able to quit his job in just 56 days, and then go on to achieve his goal of earning $100,000 a month.

This proves two things :-

A) The law of attraction works.

B) I’ll tell you later.

I first met Jon in the late 1980’s. He was a top 10 achiever in the most successful MLM company in the UK .

Jon was always a speaker at the big meetings and was earning about £30-40,000 per month, which was a massive amount of money in those days.

Jon was one of those guys that had repeatedly made and lost fortunes, but seemed always able to find a way back no matter what happened.

Sadly the company, which sold ‘smell alike’, perfumes and after shaves, had grown too quickly and ended up in financial difficulty by opening up too many world markets at the same time.

Jon had lost his income when the company crashed. For him it was disaster, but he would rise again. He is built that way.

I kept in contact with Jon over the years since then, exchanging phone calls and later emails, when the internet came about, but Jon had hit bad times in his life after splitting from his partner and suffering from some illness that Doctors found hard at first to diagnose.

Eventually he moved back in with his aged parents and became slightly reclusive.

He remained cheerful as he always was, but he was certainly troubled by this mystery illness.

In 2006, he was finally told by the Doctors that he was suffering from Mesothelioma, a very rare form of cancer. It was not only incurable, but he was also told he would be very lucky to make it till Christmas as no one ever survives for long.

Amazingly Jon, who liked to gamble on various things, sent the details of his ailment to a well known UK bookmaker, who, after examining the contents allowed him to place a bet at 50-1, that he would not beat the world record for the longest surviving sufferer of his form of cancer.

On 8th June 2008, Jon collected his winnings and renewed the bet for a further 12 months and on June 8th 2009, Jon collected his second lot of winnings, again renewing the bet a double the odds this time.

Jon is giving a large percentage of his gain to cancer and animal charities.

Jon has now become a bit of a celebrity in the UK, with journalists and photographers knocking at his door with regularity. Even the US news agencies have become involved as you can see in the attachment I give.

I am sure that we would all wish Jon the very best in his quest for survival, and we could perhaps learn something from this tale.

Be grateful for what you have, not resentful for what you have not. Never give up the pursuit of your goals, hope is eternal. Believe that anything can be possible if you set goals and work toward them, Bring joy and hope to others.

So what does feelgoodfactor mean to you?

Google “feelgoodfactor” and see what it means to others.

To Independent Television in the UK, it means a successful reality TV show that was designed to help the fight against obesity.

Wikipedia on the other hand, will list it as a music album by a group called “The Wades”.

To most others it just conjures up some sort of reference to something that makes you feel good, which of course it should, as it is just three little words linked together that actually speak volumes, but to me it means so much more.

I have an unfinished book by that very title. It may never be finished we’ll see. I lost several chapters of it when my computer hard drive crashed in 2000, and I never got round to re-writing it.

It was a self help book, based on the use of NLP methods. NLP if you don’t know is the abbreviation on Neuro Linguistic Programming. A method used by many life coaches and personal development trainers such as Tony Robbins or Paul McKenna and many, many more.

The basis of it is that our brains are programmed, much like a computer. That which we believe has been programmed into our brains and carried perhaps for life, as, rightly or wrongly, exactly what we accept as fact. I believe it so it therefore true.

Many beliefs, such as fear of spiders, snakes, the dark etc. may have been passed, unwittingly, down from our parents or even suggestions from our parents i.e. their beliefs. As we grow as children, our minds take in much of the knowledge that we are to carry for the rest of our lives. For instance a child that is constantly told that they are useless at certain things, may carry that belief way into adulthood and can affect ones self esteem in a lasting and damaging way.

If we accept that indeed our brains have been programmed by life as we know it, then it is fair to say that it is possible to reprogram those beliefs that may affect us. NLP is a method of re-programming the brain in certain areas. You may have seen TV programs that show people that have a terrible fear of snakes, be able to pick up a snake and let it wind around their body, showing no fear whatsoever and this same method can be used on changing a multitude of life long beliefs and NLP has been highly successful in improving the lives of countless thousands and I was first turned on to its possibilities after walking on hot coals.

The idea of my book was to offer a solution to anyone who wanted to feel happy and positive, absolutely anytime they wanted or needed to. Had a bad day at work, bang, you were happy. An argument with your spouse, bang, you were happy. When practiced correctly, you can turn happy days into weeks, then months, then years. Each day becoming a joy to awake and tackle all that life had to offer, be it good or bad and for me it worked, just by following a basic set of rules, but using those rules steadfastly.

The method was to use a small collection of words and phrases. Each word or phrase carried a much deeper meaning which the reader was meant to absorb and master the meaning of each. A notional box was to be kept in the brain where everything was stored. Words and meaning. When needed one would merely visit the box, extract a word, remember the meaning, and consider it until it reminded you about your mission to be happy.

This has an amazing effect on your life. You can become a better person to be around. You can focus on your objectives more efficiently. You spend far less time being troubled dwelling on negatives and broaden your horizons in general, making your potential to achieve better things.

The sad news is that I never finished the book, though to some extent the method has not been tried on any large scale because I have only imparted its theory to a handful of people, though I will say that many of those people have remembered many of the phrases and benefited from them.

In 1997 when I had mastered my Feelgoodfactor theory, I predicted that one day it would make me a lot of money. In 2000 when I lost my transcript I buried the book idea but continued its theory in my own life, remaining happy and positive but developing my ideas no further through commitment of work. In 2008 I started to develop my own internet business and by 2009, the theory and practices related, began to make my prediction come true.

For some extra feelgoodfactor, WATCH THIS MOVIE

Though now in ways a veteran of the firewalk experience having completed several, with one most memorable, hosted by the the great Tony Robbins, I still quite vividly remember my first walk.

I was, at the time working within the Personal Development industry, and had been asked to assist a colleague who needed an extra helper on a firewalk experience he was running. It was a beautiful Sunday and much of my time had been taken on preparing the fire and making it ready for the finale of the day.

I had sat through so many of these type of meetings which are meant to encourage ones ability to “think outside the box” and raise ones belief in improving capability, that I chose to miss almost the entire meeting. After all, my confidence level allowed the mindset, that I could run such an event myself if I wished, so after lounging in the glorious gardens of the Hotel grounds, whilst I overlooked the glistening ashes, I left rather late, my return to the Conference Room.

As I arrived back, the crowd were in final preparation for the walk, and Steve, the organizer, spotting my entrance, beckoned me over. “is it ready”? he said, “Yes all prepared and ready to go”, said I. “Good” said Steve ” I want you to go on 3rd”. “Me to go!” I said in panic. “I missed the show and I’m not ready”.

I had foolishly believed that one must be hypnotized somehow, or made ready by auto suggestion for the ordeal that was to follow. “I had missed it all. What was I to do?” said I, “Oh, Just fake it till you make it” said Steve.

I was aware of the, fake it till you make it principal. It is a method which encourages the user, to boldly do things, that may be outside of your normal comfort zone, and when practiced, become second nature.

The idea of sending experienced walkers across the burning embers first, will give courage to those further down line. As each person reaches the finish line, smiling, happy and unblistered, so the next gains confidence that the heat they may feel against their skin whilst still in line, will not bring harm, but bring the enlightenment they came for.

In my understanding, a firewalk is a catalyst to belief. Belief is powerful, and we should be fully aware of our own beliefs and how they shape and restrict us. To climb any mountain, we must be in total belief that we can climb it. That we have prepared for it, trained for it, and will conquer it when the time is right.

The application of principles offered within this post, are designed to give the reader, cause to consider if they themselves feel that they are able to either achieve more in their lives, or to enjoy happiness at a consistent level.

I am a thinker. I always have been.

In my early teenage years, I could spend hours and hours just thinking about the wonders of the universe and beyond. Why we were here, what makes everything work, are the such things as aliens and just about everything that there didn’t seem to be any answers for, and I had big struggles with religious opinion, but that’s just another story.

What I want to discuss here is more a story of enlightenment, a sort of turning point in my life that was profound, and a turning point that stemmed from just one small statement. “we become, what we think about”.

Those are the words of Earl Nightingale, a visionary who set out to find the absolute key to success and eventually found it. He went on to create an industry built around personal development.

The extremely successful movie ‘The Secret’, which I would recommend anyone to obtain, understand and watch on a regular basis, is probably based upon the wisdom of Earl Nightingale. His audio ‘The Strangest Secret’, made over 60 years ago, has a timeless message. If you heed this message, it will change your life.

We, like it or not, are masters of our own destiny, creating whatever world we wish to live in. We are not necessarily educated to this fact, as it not part of any educational curriculum, nor is it naturally passed down to us by our parents, who like us, may accept a life of conformity.

If in any way, you think that your life has room for improvement, or you could benefit from trying to understand the message in this audio, and put into action its message.

Mentoring

We are born into a naturally positive state, we reach for nourishment, we cry when we are tired, we search for love, and for the vast majority we find it.

From that moment, we shape our lives, or actually our lives are shaped for us. A child will automatically learn from the many influences around them, their beliefs formed from whatever goes on in their world.

By adolescence, an ocean of knowledge has passed before us. Though many outside influences are reduced, they continue, and they continue throughout our lives. Adulthood generally allows us to more easily identify positive and negative influences, though the problem, is that we often do not realize just how important it is to identify which influences we should be following, or indeed how to avoid or ignore negative influences. Often those are offered in good faith without realization of the consequences.

Now granted, we are not all perfect, we all make mistakes, after all we are human, and its human to do so, but too many of us don’t or won’t learn from our mistakes and we continue to amble through life, accepting exactly whatever life has thrown at us. and comforting ourselves with thoughts like, ” I’m not a lucky person” or “why do these things always happen to me”?. They are eager to blame everyone else for their latest set of uncomfortable circumstances. Whereas in truth, the life we are living, is a direct result of the actions we had taken in the past, and it is never too late to make changes for the better.

Learning from our mistakes and attempting to avoid reverberation as a result of those mistakes, is almost an art. Through using a set of rules (our beliefs) that we accept as our blueprint to living our lives, we will dictate what we are, who we are and indeed how we view ourselves and how we are viewed by others.

The challenge for a life coach, or mentor, is how well we are able to deliver solutions to the client that are acceptable to his beliefs. Our clients must have an open mind, be open to change, sometimes radical change, and be willing to reconstruct their belief systems.

Our beliefs are the foundations to which our entire lives are built. It is those beliefs that must be addressed if any benefits are to be seen from a coaching session. In most cases, multiple sessions are required, but in reality, continuous mentoring is a way to gain constant reassurance that we take full advantage of all the benefits of a fully positive and ordered mind. Mentors still have mentors throughout life, seeking for eternity, shared knowledge of case studies, trends and more successful ways of sharing their own knowledge and experience, with those that seek to improve their situation.

How to handle, stress, worries, relationship difficulties, time management, bereavement, self esteem, procrastination, happiness and a host of other related and unrelated issues can all be tackled by a life coach.

Life Coaching has grown enormously in the last few decades, Large Corporations and Government bodies realizing the importance, lay on seminars and bonding sessions for key staff and decision makers.

Internet Marketing and Mentoring

The link between internet marketing and mentoring is inextricable. Most failed marketers, fail because of the lack of mentoring by those who often claim to be mentors. They may be able to explain in detail, exactly how you can become a successful internet marketer, but they cannot relay the mindset that is required to overcome the mental nightmare that internet marketing can become in the mind of the trainee marketer.

Far from the fairy tale picture, portrayed by the over zealous designers of opportunity websites, with dollar bills being fired at you whilst you sit in the grounds of your mansion that overlooks the sea, gazing at pictures of your Ferrari, whilst you contemplate which exotic retreat you will visit on your next vacation.

Internet Marketing is complex, and for many, it is way outside of their comfort zone.

In fairness to the designers, they cannot say “Its real hard work and it sucks”, or no one would join their business. The whole point, is to create desire, and that’s a good starting block, but whether they should make statements like “a caveman could do it” or ” we do all the hard work for you”. are misleading and unfair. It is possible for almost anyone to master the general concepts, but some adapt more quickly than others, particularly if a “whatever it takes” attitude is developed.

To a degree you can self mentor, but with the aid of a trained mentor, pointing out stumbling blocks and solutions, it would greatly benefit the journey from newbie to experienced marketer. The ability to see our goals, and to focus upon them, will speed up our abilities to comprehend the tasks required of us, and to experience the sensation of success as we move toward them, further driving our passion.

I recently came across an excellent program called The Marketing Nightmare, written and narrated by Tahir Shah. In it, Tahir gives a very accurate account of all of the elements experienced at some time by virtually all would be marketers, and also gives logical and workable solutions to them all. Each module comes complete with video, audio and PDF components throughout the series. I found it a worthwhile and compelling addition to grace my collection of marketing paraphernalia, and would recommend it thoroughly as a support tool.

Before making the final decision to become an internet marketer. Or if you are an internet marketer of some experience and have spent a considerable amount of time and money without producing any reasonable results. Seeking the ear and the knowledge of a Life Coach may well pay you long term dividends.

So to all internet marketers, may I wish you every success in your ventures. Remember that success is not all about money or possessions. Money does not buy happiness, but it sure helps.

To be free from the worries of money, or the lack of it, can be a most uplifting experience. Attach time freedom and you are two thirds of the way to paradise on earth. Wealth is having sufficient money to support the lifestyle you choose. Health, Wealth and Happiness is perfection.

If you have enjoyed reading the above and would like further information regarding Personal Development. I will be constantly updating this site, with an increasing amount of tutorial and inspirational content.
