I will help to guide you, advise you and inspire you to get the mindset and the confidence required to develop your own successful online business.

Below you will find tips and resources to help you to develop your business

Domain Names

Owning your own domain name or names, is a must for any serious marketer.

Your domain name will help to brand you as an expert, rather than just using a company domain with your i.d. tagged on the back. i.e. /? id=johndoe.

Recommended sources are Namecheap.com or Godaddy.com

You can buy a name for under $10 and the support teams are really helpful. (tip) Check for promotions codes on google first, you may save a dollar or two.

Try to go for .com names as these are the most universally recognized.

Try to choose names relative to what you want to use them for, so that the name might give reason to click on it.

Buy only the domain name, not the up sell.

Do not buy hosting from the name seller. This may save you problems in the future if there were spam complaints against you. If the seller also hosts, you will have nowhere to go, but if the host shut you down, you could change hosts.

Hosting

There are many good hosts to choose from, recommendations are www.Hostgator.com

There is no need to pay much more than$5 per month for hosting unless you have a very large business.

Autoresponders

Any serious marketer will agree that there really is only a choice of two autoresponder services, even though there are many to choose from and some may even be free.

Those two choices are getresponse.com or aweber.com and I’m going to recommend you to aweber for these reasons.

Aweber is in my opinion the best and most popular. Support is excellent. They both have a far better deliverability of your emails and a first rate service, and in truth my link is an affiliate link that will reward me, wish you may want to do yourself in future. recommend enough people and get the service for free!

Blogging

Inside the control panel of your hosting site, you can set up your own wordpress blog.

A wordpress blog is easier to set up than a website, is already SEO optimised and is therfore google friendly.

Every online business should have a blog. It helps to brand you as an expert and gives you the opportunity to gain followers and gain leads for your business.

Squeeze Pages

Squeeze pages are critical elements in your business.

These can be outsourced or constructed by you, but they have to be good enough to catch the eye of the reader and to make them want to read on to get more information on your offer.

A study of how to make a squeeze page is recommended. (ask me if you get stuck).

Outsourcing

Never underestimate the value of outsourcing. Where to find them:

Scriptlance.com

Guru.com

Rentacoder.com

Agentsofvalue.com

Sales Pages

Just like squeeze pages, these need to be as good as they can get and are worth paying for.
